Austin’s Grand Prix comes to Formula Expo
Formula Expo™ is a unique way to experience how the most advanced race cars and elite drivers come together to create the world’s most popular motorsport, and what this will mean for Austin as the host of the 2012 Formula 1 United States Grand Prix™.

Taking place over the June 16-17 weekend, and conveniently located at the Austin Convention Center, Formula Expo will feature over 120,000 sq. ft. of exhibits and demonstrations from top Formula 1™ teams, as well as the companies creating the sport’s groundbreaking technology.
At Formula Expo you will have the chance to meet top drivers and their teams for an early and up-close look at the amazing cars, technology, and rich history that makes this form of motor racing such a compelling sport to more than 600 million people worldwide.

The Expo will include a stage and Sports Bar which will be host to an impressive lineup of racing celebrities, giving talks and interviews around all aspects of the sport. Cementing the fusion with Austin culture, the stage will also feature performances from top local musicians.

The floor will feature a “Fun Zone”, where attendees will see what it’s like to drive a race car in state-of-the-art simulators! An F1 History Zone will show the amazing evolution of cars and technology over its 62 year history.
In addition, world-renowned brand sponsors will be showcasing the glamour that surrounds this international sport through their elite products and services.
With the 2012 Formula 1 United States Grand Prix™ just months away, Austin’s Formula Expo will take place over the June 16-17, 2012 weekend along with VIP and sponsor events leading up to the Expo in Austin.
